Roasteries, Members & Permissions

Roasteries on RoastPATH are how users and data are organized. Within a Roastery users can be given different User Types. The different User Types have associated inner Roastery permissions detailed below.

User Type Notes:

• Admin: This role can do everything (including removing other Admins). Your account always has to have at least one Admin.
  
  
• Non-Roasting Admin: This role can do everything an Admin can do, except roast coffee. Use this role when you need a back office user to administer RoastPATH but, don't want to buy a larger subscription plan because you do not need another person roasting.
  
  
• Members: This role has permission to do everything required to roast coffee including managing profiles, greens & roasted coffees and cupping data. They can view settings but cannot manage settings such as users, billing, roasters, etc. If you choose ‘Member (with sharing)’, that person will be able to live roast, make roast reviews public, download roast profiles.
  
  
• Guest: This role can view roast profiles, greens & coffees libraries. Good role for a coffee consultant.
  
  
• Exiting: This is typically a person who decided to leave your Roastery and you are allowing them to take their roast profiles with them. This role is typically temporary before changing this user to
  'suspended'. This role has permission to view and download roast profiles that they created at your
  Roastery. They do not have access to any other areas, nor can they see profiles they did not roast themselves.
  
  
• Suspended: This member is no longer with your Roastery. They have no access to anything but you still have access to everything they've done in your Roastery.
