Sharing Profiles

Profiles saved in your organization can be shared (made Public/Private) from both the RoastPATH Portal and the RoastPATH App. Instructions for both processes are detailed below.

Privacy Notice: 

When a user makes a roast Profile public or exports a Profile as an .rpath file, the following information is available.

• All second-by-second sensor data, including temperature, fan, fuel, and drum readings.
• The country and processing method of the coffee what was roasted
• All entries in the Roast Notebook
• The name of the Profile
• The batch size
• The username of the original user who roasted the Profile
• The date and time the Profile was recorded

What is not included:

• The name of the machine
• The name of the coffee
• Information about the green, with the exception of country and processing method
• The name of the roastery
• All unique RoastPATH specific identifiers related to the Machine, Roastery, Coffee, or Green.

Sharing a Profile from the Portal:

Navigate to the Profiles List on the RoastPATH Portal. If necessary, use the sort and filter features to locate the Profile you wish to share. Click the Profile in the list to open the Profile Review page. Then click the Share Settings Icon (group of people) in the upper right to open the Share Settings pop-up.

Click the Make Public button. The profile will be published online and you’ll be provided the URL to share.

Anyone with the URL to that profile and a RoastPATH account will be able to review your roast second by second and review any notes you’ve added in the Notebook.

To make a profile private again, navigate back to the Share Settings pop-up and select 'Make Private'.

Sharing a profile from the App:

From the Recent Profiles list in RoastPATH App, , click the profile you wish to share to open the Profile Review screen. Follow the same steps on listed for the RoastPATH Portal to change the share settings of the Profile from within the RoastPATH App.
