Is my roaster Roast Replay ready?

Currently, only the latest Mill City Roasters MCR Series coffee roasters are compatible with RoastPATH's Roast Replay functionality. The key difference between compatible and non-compatible MCR Series roasters lies in how fan and drum speed are controlled:

• Older MCR models use direct control buttons wired to the motor controllers. These allow users to scroll decimal values with no fixed increments. 
• If your roaster displays fan and drum speed in continuously scrolling Hz values (as shown in the photo below), it is not compatible with Roast Replay at this time.

The latest MCR Series roasters compatible with Roast Replay feature an upgraded onboard PLC (programmable logic controller). This industrial computer enables precise control of fan and drum speed in set increments, as shown in the photo below.

⚠️ Firmware Notice:
Only certain firmware versions support Roast Replay. If your roaster isn’t currently compatible, a firmware update may be required.
